The Journey

What working with Circulus looks like

Four stages, one goal: a life after work that looks the way you want it to. No pricing here — this page is about the journey.

01
Evaluation

See where you actually stand

We put the work in to show you exactly where you stand. Through a free, guided Wealth Map session, we calculate where you are today and where you need to be for the lifestyle you want — what we call the realisation moment.

The Retirement Reality Report is your starting point. It sets out your current trajectory — what your savings are likely to provide, what NZ Super contributes, and how far you currently sit from the lifestyle you're aiming for.

02
Learn

Build the knowledge to make good decisions

Before a strategy session is useful, you need to understand the landscape. This stage involves working through the material your planner will build a plan around — why saving alone rarely closes the gap, and what your options actually look like.

Your planner will guide this stage. The goal isn't to give you more information — it's to make sure the strategy session is a genuine conversation, not a presentation you're hearing cold.

03
Strategy Session

A plan built around your situation

Your planner builds a plan specific to your financial position — not a generic illustration, but a projection built from your numbers, addressing the exact gap between where you are and where you want to be. You'll leave with a clear, documented plan covering your retirement shortfall and the approach to closing it.

This session is with one of the Circulus planners, who holds the relevant Financial Service Provider registration and works under their own disclosure document. Circulus facilitates the connection; your planner provides the advice.

04
Implementation

Acting on the plan

A plan is only as good as its execution. Your planner supports you through every step that follows — turning your strategy into action using proven structures and time-tested methods, built specifically to get you to the capital you need.

This isn't a one-off event. Ongoing annual reviews and continued support keep the plan current as your situation changes — it's a long-term relationship, built around a long-term outcome.

Every journey starts with an honest picture of where you are.

The Wealth Map is free, takes around 20 minutes, and gives you something concrete to work from.
