Money Worries?

Money worries are a constant companion for many, and our recent Wealth Map Evaluation quiz highlights just how common this concern is. With over 6,000 participants weighing in on how often they worry about money, the results reveal a fascinating snapshot of financial anxiety.

Looking at the data, a mere 4% of respondents say they rarely worry about money, while only 2% sit at the highest level of worry. But what really stands out is the large group clustered in the middle. Nearly a quarter of people (23%) rated their worry level at 5 out of 10, and another 19% landed at 6. Add in those at 7 (15%) and you see that the majority of us are living in a constant state of moderate financial concern.

What does this tell us? For one, money worries aren’t just the domain of those in obvious financial distress. The bulk of respondents identify as neither completely carefree nor totally overwhelmed - they’re somewhere in between, managing day-to-day concerns, future uncertainties, and the ongoing pressures of modern life. This middle ground is where most people live: aware, cautious, and striving for more stability.

It’s a reminder that financial peace of mind isn’t just about having more - sometimes, it’s about understanding your habits, setting clear goals, and creating a plan. The fact that so many people hover around the mid-range of worry suggests there’s a huge opportunity for growth, education, and empowerment.
